Polish higher education system allows the co-existence of State and Non-state universities, including 133 State universities and 309 non-national universities; those universities are recognized by the Polish Ministry of Education which execute 3-year undergraduate, 2 years master and 3-year doctoral education system.
The two universities are in line with the same principles of teaching management, that is: the same disciplines (medicine is an exception, only enrolled in the National Conservatory). The same learning cycle, perform the same basic teaching content, offers diploma and equal rights to obtain the same type of academic degree.
The famous State Medical University is the Medical University of Lublin, Poznan Medical University, Silesian Medical University, Medical University, Lodz and Wroclaw Medical University. These medical schools are in English. Entry requirements are very simple, just to get a high school diploma then can apply.
